Best coffee by far in Maccroom, the Barrista's are top class. My absolute favourite latte, it's smooth, with a rich nutty, smoky flavour with a beautiful crema, fabulous. Not joking, I dream about this coffee as I am only in Maccroom once a week. I have tried some of the beautiful homemade cakes and can recommend the cinnamon bun, lemon drizzle and pistachio gluten free cakes. The rolls and salad look divine, if I was looking for lunch, I wouldn't hesitate to buy them. Took me a while to discover this place, ladies you are doing a great job, thank you for bringing joy to my shopping days!!!

Struck lucky with this gem when passing through Macroom. We thoroughly enjoyed the baguettes, salad, coffee and an amazing cinnamon bun. Beautiful day to sit out on the street to savour the delicious food. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.
A random detour to Macroom to secure an NCT appointment. What a beautiful little cafe and deli. Grabbed a toasted special with chicken, 'nduja, cheese, spring onion and chimichurri mayonnaise. Amazing as was the cinnamon roll - light, fluffy, with an amazing buttercream frosting. I'll be making another detour back here, no NCT recheck necessary.
If you're looking for great quality delicious food I highly recommend pickled. They do amazing sourdough rolls and tasty salads not to mention their baked goods. Its a small (takeaway only) establishment in the back of macroom square a few doors above the Briery Gap. I've been a customer of theirs since they opened and I literally crave their food. They use fresh ingredients and have generous portion sizes. Their coffee is devine and if you're lucky enough to see their sausage rolls on offer grab one, you wont be disappointed.
My husband and I were just down from Galway for the weekend and stumbled upon this place. The pretty pink + orange building, the yummy alluring smells, we were quick to join the queue. I think it's a brilliant use of a small space to use the window for order hand off. I think more small cafes could do with doing things this way, cuts down with a blob of people in a small space - some waiting to order, some waiting for their order, some confused as to where to stand.
So so many tasty goodies to chose from. We had 2 sambos, a brownie, a slice of lemon drizzle, and flat whites in our span of 2 visits.
Everything was so, so tasty! They were busy, but very kind + friendly considering the pressure of the queue - can be daunting for the staff in a small space I'm sure. Loved that they had a funny print by Irish artist Fuchsia MacAree hung up. Wish they were in Galway, lucky Macroom! 😋
